Every year PA Consulting Group organises the Raspberry Pi competition - a contest inviting school children and college students to put their programming skills to the test. Shortlisted entries will be invited to PA's awards day on Tuesday 17th April at the IET in London, where they will exhibit their inventions and enjoy a day of technology-based workshops before the winners are announced.
We’d love for you to join us at the awards day to celebrate in the achievements of our young innovators. Read below for more information on how to get involved.
Date: Tuesday 17th April

Speed networking gives you the chance to engage directly with our young innovators in a series of quick-fire sessions. The students will ask you questions about your experiences, expertise, career and background. We hope that interacting with successful business leaders of today will inspire the next generation to become the innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
You are invited to join us from 12.30pm for a VIP lunch prior to the session starting. After speed networking, we welcome you to stay for a tour of the school invention exhibition and for the awards ceremony where winners are announced. This is followed by a drinks reception to thank you for your participation.
If you are interested in joining the speed networking session, or if you would like more information, please register to join us via the link below.
Join us from 3pm to meet the teams and take a tour of the student invention exhibition area. The students will demonstrate their inventions and explain how they went about completing the project from conception to completion.
Last year St Mary's Primary School in Horsham won the Primary School award for inventing a system to help deafblind people identify visitors at their door. We’d asked entrants to produce innovations that would improve the lives of people who have conditions that limit their ability to do things most of us take for granted.
After the tour, we will hold our awards ceremony where the winning teams are announced and prizes are handed out. This is followed by a drinks reception.
At PA we are passionate about innovation and technology. Now in its sixth year, the Raspberry Pi competition aims to inspire the next generation of engineers, innovators and technologists. The competition includes various age categories and includes students from academic year 4 all the way through to sixth forms and colleges.
This year we are challenging entrants to help ‘save the planet’ by inventing under the theme of Sustainability.
