The 2021 UK IT Sourcing Study, conducted by Whitelane Research in collaboration with PA, investigates more than 600 unique IT sourcing relationships and 800 cloud sourcing relationships held by over 250 of the top IT spending organisations in the United Kingdom. This makes it the most comprehensive UK survey to date, with more than 1,400 contracts investigated.

The 2021 Nordic IT Sourcing Study, that we conducted in collaboration with Whitelane Research, investigated more than 700 unique IT sourcing relationships and 700 cloud relationships held by more than 350 of the top IT spending organisations in the Nordic region.

With over 50,000 vulnerable people shielding at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hampshire County Council urgently needed to understand their support needs. In just seven days, we developed and launched a Wellbeing Automated Call Service (WACS), dramatically enhancing the council’s capacity to do this.

Working through our Argenti partnership, our innovative approach to technology-enabled care, we delivered an end-to-end care technology service on behalf of Essex County for three years. Over this period, we increased referrals by 150 per cent, delivered financial benefits worth more than £6.5 million and garnered 99 per cent positive feedback from service users.

Our agile approach was fundamental to helping Arm transform their IT function. We supported their plans for growth by designing a new operating model that enabled them to organise IT delivery teams in a way that focused on customer experience and employee engagement.

To stay competitive, global investment managers Schroders needed faster delivery, increased efficiency and improved quality from their IT organisation. To get IT teams working more closely with the business, Schroders asked PA Consulting Group to introduce Agile ways of working across the global IT organisation.

We helped Aegon Asset Management’s UK business Kames Capital develop agile capabilities to deliver change initiatives faster than ever before. Kames can now deliver large programmes consistently within a year from inception to completion. Kames has empowered and motivated people with the new agile capabilities and skills needed to meet the challenge of change in a world that never stands still.

Working together with Hampshire County Council, we uncovered new opportunities to use technology to improve outcomes for people, including increasing independence and control, and immediate access to help in an emergency. Our innovative approach also delivers significant and sustainable savings for the Council.

PA has created a 100 per cent plastic-free, sustainable and home compostable tea sheet, reducing the estimated 6.5 million kilograms of tea bag plastic disposed of each year in the UK
