According to UK Finance research, 22 million people regularly accessed financial services through their mobile in 2017, a 16 per cent increase on 2016. This presents a growing opportunity for chatbot communication, so we’re working with several partners to develop and deploy chatbots that serve a wide range of customer needs.
For example, we’ve been working with Facebook to develop chatbots and new Messenger experiences for mortgages, foreign exchange, energy and car insurance. Our digital engineers in Belfast, Northern Ireland, work closely with the Facebook tech department to shape functionality and build capability, giving our clients new ways to connect with and engage their customers.
