Ricoh specialises in office imaging equipment, production print solutions, document management systems and IT services. A key part of their growth strategy in Europe is to accelerate their shift to a services business model, building upon a core foundation of hardware, software and document services.
We worked with Ricoh to understand how they should optimise their transformation strategy, with a focus on meeting the future business needs of clients. First, we analysed markets in over 40 sectors, spanning 13 industries, to identify those where Ricoh would add the most value, and developed new propositions for each. We then worked with Ricoh Europe to define a new customer-centric target operating model and a phased transition plan. Finally, working closely with Ricoh, we looked at how their capabilities and culture should evolve to support the plan across development, behaviour and engagement.
Our work to support Ricoh on their transformation to deliver high-value client services – a key strength of our business design team – is in place and is set to ensure Ricoh supports their own clients in transforming the way they work in the future.
