This global retail bank’s operating environment extends across 65 countries worldwide. The client asked PA Consulting Group to help develop a strategy for business resilience to ensure core operations processes were resilient in order to protect their products, services and brand.
The PA team worked closely with the bank to develop a strategy that acted as a common framework for all the elements needed to design and embed resilient operations. Building blocks for each element were defined and documented, leading to a common understanding across each market the bank was operating in. The strategy was acknowledged as a critical first step in reducing cost to the business while increasing the bank’s ability to respond positively to unexpected events.
