At this year's 3GSM World Congress, PA Consulting Group, the leading international management systems and technology consultancy, will demonstrate to the industry its leading-edge services and products to help vendors and operators accelerate and de-risk 2.5G and 3G deployments.
On its Stand G49 in Hall 2, PA will be demonstrating its:

- micro cell Node B solution - a firm basis on which manufacturers can develop micro and pico cell base stations, which PA forecasts will constitute an important part of future 3G networks.
- advanced telematics applications running over 2.5G and Wi-Fi networks - demonstrating the real high-volume, industrial-strength applications of cellular data services.
Consultancy services to reduce time-to-market of handsets and networks, including network architectural audits, network design and handset design/road mapping.
In addition, Alan Carr, a member of PA's management team, will be chairing day one (Monday 23 February) of the Technology Summit - Track one: 3GSM Roll out and Networks evolution. This session highlights the experiences and planning behind some of the first rollouts. The session will consider issues such as:
- integrating and inter-operating 3GSM and 2G networks.
- planning sensible coverage and capacity rollouts within regulatory and business constraints.
- optimizing the launch process - planning, testing, quality assurance and operations.
- the collaboration process between operators and suppliers, and project management to ensure a successful launch.
