The UK police landscape is undergoing its most fundamental change ever. The introduction of Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs), the National Crime Agency (NCA), a new Police Professional Body and a new Police IT Company will all have a fundamental and far-reaching impact on policing across the UK. We are currently actively working with prospective Police and Crime Commissioners to develop an extensive support package in the lead up to the November elections.

The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), which is responsible for driving tests in Britain, wanted to reinvigorate the service they provide to learner drivers. expertise in business case development, operating model design and sourcing to assist DVSA in reimagining the commercial delivery model for the driving theory test. Together with the DVSA we engaged 100+ potential suppliers prior to the procurement activity starting, uncovering potential for an innovative mixed-economy model that will bring greater control, value and quality.

Designing Denmark’s future drone infrastructure

A Russell Group University wanted to provide their students with a better exam process to help improve the student experience overall. Our higher education specialists carried out an independent analysis of the issues surrounding the way the university developed exam papers, published results and managed appeals.

Oxford Brookes University is on an ambitious journey to transform its student information management landscape. We worked with the University as a strategic delivery partner to support their team through the change, from procurement and design configuration to the deployment of a new commercial ‘off the shelf’ cloud-hosted solution.

Using PA Consulting’s Innovation Growth Framework, we helped the Norwegian Ski Federation embrace modern trends to reach new audiences. This includes launching new events around modern ski formats such as freestyle, to developing existing competitions to create a richer offer in tune with what young people want.

The UK government wants to be a world leader in protecting the public from online harms. Our regulatory experts played a key role in enabling the UK government to make key decisions around the establishment of a new Online Harms Regulator.

We’ve helped the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (Defra) design the Office of Environmental Protection (OEP) from scratch. It will take over from EU regulators from 2021. We worked with civil servants and outside stakeholders to clarify big questions, like the watchdog’s purpose.
