Scott Brown joins PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a partner in financial services to further expand PA’s digital capability in the sector. He will be working closely with some of PA’s banking clients to support them on their digital transformation journeys.
Scott brings nearly 25 years’ experience in technology and architecture within financial services, specialising in banking technology transformation and cloud adoption, agile engineering enablement, innovation adoption, fintech, reg-tech, start-up enablement and people and culture change.
Before joining PA, Scott was CTO at IT services provider DXC, focussing on cloud adoption, technology change stability, technical platform remediation, people and capability uplift and talent retention.
Prior to that, he spent over a decade at HSBC, operating across a number of business lines and functions in senior architecture and technology leadership roles. He has been Chief Architect for the Investment Bank (previously GBM) and acted as Chief Technical Architect for Group Functions covering the finance, risk, financial crime, HR and operations functions.
PA’s financial services experts combine deep knowledge of banking, insurance, pensions, private equity and asset management with expertise in strategy, technology, digital and innovation to help our clients adapt, transform and succeed. Most recently, our experts have helped financial services clients build better financial futures by digitising from the ground up at HSBC, using AI to create seamless customer journeys for Rabobank, and helping ING become a leader in platform innovation.
Jiten Kachhela, PA Consulting’s Global Head of Digital, said: “I’m delighted to have Scott join the team at PA. His extensive experience as a senior technologist and leader within large banks, and deep expertise in cloud platforms, technology modernisation, automation at scale, and building high-performing teams will amplify and extend our ability to support FS clients.”
Scott Brown added: “I’ve worked for more than a decade in both architecture and innovation roles and I’m enormously excited to be joining PA with its proven track record on scaling from minimum viable product to enterprise-hardened solutions. It’s the development of these capabilities, and how they can be consumed at enterprise scale, that will be critical in the coming years to maintaining business stability for many of our financial services clients.”
