PA Consulting (PA), the global innovation and transformation consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, announces it has gained the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award, in recognition of its longstanding support and advocacy for the Defence and service community.
The Employer Recognition Scheme recognises public and private sector organisations that have provided exceptional support to the UK Armed Forces, going beyond their Armed Forces Covenant pledges. The Gold Award is the highest accolade granted under the Employer Recognition Scheme, reserved for organisations with the strongest commitment to supporting the military community.
PA was announced as a Gold Award recipient by the ERS on 30 July 2020, having received an Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award in 2019. Being part of the Defence family in the UK is critical to PA’s work in Defence and Security. Over the years, PA has established strong links with the Royal Logistics Corps, developed an affiliation with 7 Rifles and HMS President and has links with the Royal Signals Corp and Royal Yeomanry Corp.
PA continuously promotes and demonstrates its commitment to the Defence community, including employing over 200 service leavers and building lasting and robust service affiliations with units. PA has also been a strong advocate of the Armed Forces Covenant since 2016, is the founding partner of Women in Defence UK and signatories of the Women in Defence Charter.
Alan Lewis, Global Head of Defence & Security at PA Consulting, comments: “I’m incredibly proud of what we’re doing as a firm to champion and protect the Defence industry. The Gold Award is testament to the many wonderful people we have at PA, and their efforts and commitment to supporting the military community.”
“We’re dedicated to continuing to build our support for the Armed Forces, in turn making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of veterans, personnel and forces’ families.”
