Grete Kvernland-Berg (43) will be the new head of the Norwegian arm of the consulting company PA Consulting.

“The Nordic region and Europe are in the middle of an enormous digitalisation process and the consulting industry is central to this development. I look forward to helping to accelerate this move,” says Grete Kvernland-Berg, the new head of PA Consulting in Norway.

Kvernland-Berg has worked for PA Consulting since 2011, and today is part of the global management team for public sector services. She previously worked as a consultant at Accenture from 2001 to 2008 and BearingPoint from 2008 to 2011.

Making values visible

Kvernland-Berg takes over as Norwegian manager replacing Monica Ødegaard, who earlier this year joined Reitan Handel.

“I have been in the consulting industry all my working life and thrive because I am allowed to work with very talented people, and because I learn something new every single day,” says the new consulting manager.

Kvernland-Berg says that in the future she wants to make the values the consulting industry creates visible, and develop employees further.

“The most demanding challenge as a leader in the consulting industry is  balancing customers' need for stability and employees' wishes to develop themselves further. It is most rewarding when we get these two things in combination. The consulting industry should be measured more on results and less on hours worked”, she says.
