Danish government to provide better business support

PA public sector expert, Mikkel Pødenphant, has had a byline published in discussing the need for business promotion in Denmark.

Mikkel stresses that Denmark needs growth in its major cities and peripheral regions, and the government must find new ways to finance the Danish welfare system. This is why the Danish business promotion system is so important. However, it can be difficult to administrate and ensure that the business community is supported in the right way.

Mikkel says: “It is imperative to ensure companies have the best support possible. Denmark faces fierce competition from other countries that also offer productive services to the business community.”

According to Mikkel, the Danish business promotion system needs to be strengthened to face this competition to ensure companies maintain their competitive position on a global scale.

“We need a Danish business promotion system that is able to compete internationally. At the same time, we must maintain a local commitment and foundation, ensuring that the visions of entrepreneurial companies can be realised and benefit the wider community,” concludes Mikkel.
