Life sciences and medtech expert Marck Aghnatios has joined PA Consulting. He brings more than 20 years of management consulting experience in life sciences to PA, and will be based in the firm’s New York office. In the role, Marck will focus on supporting medtech and medical device clients with innovation, transformation, and regulatory changes.

PA has a long history of innovation in medical devices, having pioneered the modern asthma inhaler. The firm recently worked with GE Healthcare on wearable devices for health monitoring, and with Pharmaxis on the new Orbital inhaler for combating tuberculosis. The firm’s medical device development capabilities are housed at Essential Design, and at the  Global Technology Center in Cambridge, UK.

The addition of Marck will strengthen the firm’s capabilities in medical device consulting, which focuses on helping clients develop innovative and safe products and get them to market. The veteran consultant previously spent two decades at KPMG, where he advised pharmaceutical and medical device clients on R&D, regulatory compliance, medical affairs, IT, and supply chain.

George says: “We are continuing to grow in the US and are recruiting world-class talent. Marck has deep experience in life sciences and brings relevant, pragmatic insight that will help our clients create opportunity from complexity.”

Marck adds: “PA is leading on very exciting projects that will make a tangible impact on improving people's lives. I am looking forward to helping PA's clients push innovative medical devices and instrumentation to market further, faster.”
