Job description

As a Managing Consultant, you will be part of our leadership team, taking new service propositions to the market as well as developing new business and strong client relationships while leading and delivering great work.  You will work with customers in our Healthcare Data Platforms offering to meet their evolving needs, leading the program delivery team and shaping the future strategy of this business..

You must have a track record of successful business development and project delivery working within a major professional services consulting firm.

• Strong consulting skills, including a high degree of communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage projects, working with both people and technology to achieve successful outcomes
• Ability to develop strong relationships with both clients and colleagues
• Leadership of substantial projects with cross-functional and multi-geography teams
• Commercial acumen to understand requirements and formulate realistic and robust solutions while appreciating and managing risk appropriately
• A willingness to learn and to develop yourself and others around you
• Developing strong relationships with colleagues and maintaining such a network to ensure that all opportunities are developed carefully and shared with other business units
• Actively supporting the recruitment and development of team capabilities and talent

• Ability to lead and manage junior team members enabling everyone to perform to the best of their capability and actively nurturing and growing talent


Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in selling and delivering consumer-oriented Healthcare IT solutions
• Bachelor’s degree required.  An advanced degree or a specialization in healthcare, computer science, business or engineering is preferred
• Knowledge and experience of technology solutions deployment in a healthcare environment; agile deployment and development; or data and analytics; or technical program delivery and change management
• Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
• Exemplary communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation
• The ability to successfully manage client expectations and relationships
• Entrepreneurial, with creative thinking skills
