Job description

PA Consulting is a leading advisor within consumer & manufacturing in the Netherlands.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Consultant to join our team in the Netherlands, specializing in Consumer & Manufacturing Operating Model. In this role, you will lead consulting engagements focused on optimizing operational performance, driving efficiency, and fostering innovation within consumer goods and manufacturing companies.

Our strong team in Netherlands is growing and we are hiring Managing Consultants and Principals to continue building our strong presence in the sector. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and lead new accounts and focus on Business Development in general.
• Lead client engagements, working closely with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop tailored solutions.
• Design and implement operating models that align with client objectives, leveraging industry best practices and innovative methodologies.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
• Provide expertise in supply chain optimization, including distribution network design, inventory management, and logistics optimization.
• Advise clients on digital transformation strategies, leveraging technology to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
• Lead change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of operating model transformations.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, sharing insights and best practices with colleagues and clients.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

Our team is based in Utrecht, and you will work predominately on client site. Travel may be required, but we are committed to working with any qualified candidate to understand what flexible working patterns can be adapted.

Qualifications

• Consumer & Manufacturing experience including the following:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (8+ years) in consulting roles, with a focus on consumer goods and/or manufacturing sectors.
• Expertise in operating model design, process improvement, supply chain optimization, and digital transformation.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead client engagements and manage project teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to solve complex problems and drive innovative solutions.
• Fluency in Dutch and English languages.
