The PA Foundation announces 10 new global charity partners during PA Consulting’s first-ever Giving Back and Volunteering Week
The PA Foundation announces its first cohort of charity partners. Over the next 12 months, The Foundation will work with 10 charities, focused on providing access to quality education, skills and careers for underserved groups – particularly in STEM.
The charities are:
- Catch22 (UK)
- Dress for Success (US)
- Helena Kennedy Foundation (UK)
- Lær for Livet / Learn for Life (Denmark)
- Making the Leap (UK)
- Raspberry Pi Foundation (UK and US)
- The Economist Educational Foundation (Global)
- UAF (Netherlands)
- Upwardly Global (US)
- Veterans Aid (UK)
The PA Foundation aims to develop and inspire people, principally those facing disadvantage, to be the innovators and leaders of tomorrow, applying their ingenuity to solve the world's biggest challenges. The Foundation will be making £1 million of grant funding in 2022.
The Foundation’s financial support, coupled with volunteer hours by PA people lending their skills and experience, will directly impact over 2,400 people from disadvantaged groups.
PA people will, for example, establish one of the first coding academies in a UK women’s prison with Catch22. While in the US they’ll work with Upwardly Global to support over 500 under-employed immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers to gain meaningful employment through coaching, job readiness, skills development and access to employers.

Emily Evans, CEO and Founder, The Economist Educational Foundation said: “We are excited to be working with The PA Foundation to enable young people to develop essential skills through inspiring discussions about STEM issues in the news. We have deep expertise helping young people to understand our changing world. By combining this with PA’s unique STEM, strategy and innovation expertise, we will support students to ask big questions about STEM topics shaping their future.”

PA will support The PA Foundation’s new charity partners over the next 12 months, lending their skills and experience. PA’s giving back and volunteer week, which launches today, will be an opportunity for PA people to start developing relationships and planning collaborations with The PA Foundation’s charity partners. By the end of 2022, PA aims to have contributed over 10,000 volunteer hours by its people globally.
