PA Consulting welcomes Merle Hall as new Global Head of Design, Engineering & Science

PA Consulting (PA), the company that’s bringing ingenuity to life, today announces that Merle Hall will join the firm as the new Global Head of its Design, Engineering & Science team.
A seasoned senior executive, Merle brings more than 20 years’ experience in leading design, engineering, and innovation consultancies with a global footprint, which positions her ideally to shape PA’s next phase of growth.
Merle’s career includes significant leadership roles, notably scaling design and product development at consultancy Kinneir Dufort (KD), and most recently serving as Global Vice President, Innovation and Development at Ensera Group. Merle brings deep expertise in delivering end-to-end development programmes for products and services across healthcare, consumer, industrial, and defence sectors.
Merle’s appointment follows a rotation of the role from Frazer Bennett, PA’s Chief Innovation Officer. Frazer has successfully led PA’s 400-strong Design, Engineering & Science business through a period of renewed growth and cohesion, bringing together teams across six international locations and strengthening its reputation for delivering differentiated and high‑impact client work. Frazer will now expand his role as Chief Innovation Officer with a broader mandate to turn expertise into strategic advantage for clients.
