PA Consulting welcomes Alistair Fleming as a partner…

Alistair Fleming recently joined PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a partner in its Life Sciences team. With his extensive experience in engineering development and commercial strategy, Alistair will help PA’s MedTech clients navigate the complex and changing world of digital healthcare.

Alistair brings over 25 years’ experience in the field of MedTech, delivering ground-breaking solutions to clients such as Medtronic and Olympus. Working with an array of technologies, including imaging, surgical robotics and molecular diagnostics, Alistair has helped develop solutions for lung cancer, orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology and diabetes in the US, UK, Germany and Japan.

Prior to joining PA, Alistair worked as a Managing Director within Science Group PLC, where he led the development and implementation of the business unit’s medical advisory practice, directing strategic programmes to help roadmap future client growth within the medical sector. Before that, he headed its Surgical and Diagnostics teams, drawing upon his technical experience as a programme manager at Olympus Surgical.

PA works with most of the top 20 pharmaceuticals and leading MedTech companies to help them bring innovative products to market. Our experts in biotech, pharma, healthcare and medical technologies work with businesses from discovery and research to marketing and sales. PA recently assisted the UK Government by leading the Ventilator Challenge during the pandemic, has worked with Ori Biotech to enable patient access to cell and gene therapies, and supported AstraZeneca’s agile transformation of its IT change portfolio.
