Digital Allies consortium is delighted to have been named as a supplier on all six lots of the UK Ministry Of Defence (MOD) Digital and IT Professional Services (DIPS) Framework

The Digital Allies consortium, led by PA Consulting, the company that’s bringing ingenuity to life, together with Accenture, is delighted to announce it has been selected by the MOD to deliver digital and IT professional services to support the MOD and the Front-Line Commands. Crown Commercial Service (CCS) assisted MOD in the production of the DIPS framework and will become the framework authority upon go live of the framework, with MOD responsible for all customer engagement. The DIPS framework is due to run for four years and deliver a range of digital and IT specialists professional services to Defence Digital.

Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2022/23, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £3.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

Digital Allies is a consortium of highly specialised professional firms, SMEs, and academia. Its combined market leading capabilities will enable it to provide and develop the wide range of digital and IT professional services needed in today’s digital world. Through its work on the Framework, it will provide:

  • Technical expertise from across all industry sectors
  • Depth and breadth of understanding of the end-user needs of defence personnel
  • A strong heritage allying with Defence Digital to deliver the Digital Backbone and unleash the power of Defence’s data

Digital Allies is the only consortium to have been selected across all six lots:

Lot 1: Solution, Enterprise & Tech Architecture, Data, Innovation Tech Assurance & KIM

Lot 2: Dev, Apps, UX, Dev Ops, Sys Design & App Support

Lot 3: Cyber Security, Crypto, Sec Ops & Integrated systems

Lot 4: Infrastructure Data Centre, Hardware engineers & Telecoms

Lot 5: Project, Programme and Portfolio Management (P3M)

Lot 6: Intelligence Solutions

The framework is organised around capability and skills across the full IT spectrum. It will see Digital Allies working closely with MOD - providing deep technical delivery capabilities, strategic insight and thought leadership that will help Defence deliver its most complicated digital and IT programmes.
