Schiphol has selected a group of strategic IT partners for the next eight years following a competitive tender process. The airport wants to draw on their expertise and capacity to modernise its technology, strengthen the reliability of its operational systems and improve the passenger experience.
The partners will work across advisory services, software development, platform services, and IT and data project management. Their work will support Schiphol’s plans to make airport processes more efficient and predictable for passengers, airlines and other partners. Schiphol also intends to make greater use of data and artificial intelligence as it develops more data-driven operations.
The selected firms include Accenture, Capgemini, CGI, Cognizant and Deloitte, alongside specialist partners such as PA Consulting, Valcon and Strict. Some already work with the airport: PA Consulting and Cognizant, for example, are supporting the renewal of Schiphol’s Airport Operational Database, a key operational system.
