Job description

Become part of the Team:

Are you an experienced professional with a strong track record of leading client engagements, building trusted relationships, and delivering tangible operational impact? Do you enjoy tackling complex operational and performance challenges, helping organisations improve efficiency, resilience, and cost competitiveness across their value chains?

Our Operations & Improvement team works with organisations across the world to help them understand current operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and design and deliver pragmatic solutions that create measurable value. From end‑to‑end supply chain optimisation and manufacturing transformation, to cost reduction, productivity improvement and operating model design, we support our clients in strengthening their operational foundations and delivering lasting impact.

At PA, we pride ourselves on developing and delivering solutions that provide the fastest path to impact. As a result, we are looking for individuals who combine strong operations and process expertise with transformation and change experience, enabling them not only to design robust improvement initiatives, but also to lead delivery and realise benefits in practice.

We are expanding our Operations & Improvement capability across the Nordics in response to growing market demand. You will work primarily with clients in the Consumer & Manufacturing industry, as well as adjacent sectors such as Energy & Utilities, Financial Services and Public Services. The role offers a blend of account leadership, delivery ownership, and business development, with responsibility for both maintaining and growing key client relationships.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Leading the delivery of complex operational improvement engagements across key client accounts, ensuring high‑quality outcomes, measurable benefits, and strong client satisfaction

  • Acting as a trusted adviser to senior client stakeholders on topics such as operational excellence, cost optimisation, supply chain performance, manufacturing and process improvement

  • Diagnosing current operational performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing pragmatic, data‑driven initiatives that enhance efficiency, resilience, and value creation

  • Working with clients to define and deliver end‑to‑end improvements across operating models, processes, systems, and ways of working

  • Owning and growing key client accounts by identifying follow‑on opportunities, shaping client roadmaps, and contributing to long‑term account development strategies

  • Supporting business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development, commercial shaping, and client presentations

  • Contributing to thought leadership and capability development within the Operations & Improvement team, sharing insights, tools, and best practices

  • Providing leadership, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high‑performing team culture

Our team is based in Stockholm, and you will work predominantly on client site. Travel may be required, but we are committed to working with qualified candidates to understand and support flexible working patterns.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in operations, operational excellence, process improvement, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related consulting or industry role

  • Proven track record of leading and delivering complex operational or transformation initiatives, ideally with responsibility for benefit realisation

  • Strong understanding of operational performance improvement, cost optimisation, and value‑chain analysis

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations

  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence leaders at all levels

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and contributing to the development of others

  • Experience supporting or leading business development and account growth, including proposal development and client relationship management

  • Fluency in Swedish and English
