In Denmark, we work closely with public sector organisations across central government, agencies, municipalities and regions, helping them respond to evolving citizen needs, regulatory change and digital disruption.

Job description

As a Management Consultant (Director) in our Public Services team, you will operate at the heart of strategic transformation for our public sector clients.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver solutions that improve organisational effectiveness, support policy objectives and create better outcomes for citizens. Our work spans strategy, operating model design and large-scale transformation, often enabled by digital and data-driven capabilities.

We take a holistic approach to transformation — considering organisation, governance, technology, data, processes, skills and culture — ensuring our clients can execute effectively and sustainably.

As part of a growing and entrepreneurial team in Denmark, you will play a highly visible role — acting as a senior voice on engagements, shaping client thinking and contributing to the continued growth of our Public Services business.

Why consider joining our Public Services community as a Managing Consultant?

  • Join a team where you're trusted to shape your own path, manage your time, and influence real change for our clients and communities.

  • Be part of a team actively shaping the Public Services sector and tackling issues that impact our everyday lives
  • Join other experts within our supportive and collaborative community through knowledge-sharing and peer-level support, coaching and mentoring.
  • Active support and mentorship towards progression to senior roles, including Partner

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to revenue generation, including identifying opportunities, shaping proposals and supporting the conversion of new work

  • Act as a senior voice on client engagements, shaping recommendations and supporting decision-making at leadership level
  • Support the design and implementation of operating models, governance structures and organisational transformations
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients in complex stakeholder and political environments
  • Support the growth of our Public Services business in Denmark
  • Coach and support junior consultants, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team culture

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong interest in public sector transformation, a proven track record in consulting, and the ambition to play a broader role in a growing team.

Experience and background

  • Proven experience in management consulting or a related field
  • Experience delivering strategy, operating model or transformation projects
  • Strong understanding of public sector structures, governance and operating environments
  • Experience with digital transformation, data or business process improvement is advantageous

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in complex organisational and political environments
  • Commercial mindset with an interest in business development and client growth

What you will get

  • A broader and more visible role than in larger teams, with real influence on client engagements and team direction
  • A collaborative, entrepreneurial environment with strong focus on learning and development
