Stuck in a rut, needing a new challenge?

Established in 2013, Argenti is an award-winning partnership created by PA Consulting. It collaborates with Councils across the country to deliver an innovative approach to care technology services, also known as TECS or telecare. Through its strategic partnerships with Councils, Argenti helps people of all ages live safer, more independent, gloriously ordinary lives in the place they call home.

We are looking for a forward thinking, solutions-focused Care Technology Delivery and Innovation Specialist to become an integral part of the PA Consulting-led Argenti care technology partnership. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious innovator to think outside the box and shape solutions to improve the lives of others. Specifically, the role will focus on providing innovative care technology solutions in the most complex cases, including with working age adults, children and virtual care.

With the opportunity to work across our Argenti services, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting specialist CT (Care Technology) installations – completing installations of specialist CT equipment for complex cases, including in supported living schemes, for virtual support provision and with children.
  • Provider engagement – liaising with care providers to support them to embrace and fully utilise technology to improve people’s lives.
  • Working in partnership with health and care professionals – collaborating with relevant professionals in a solution focused way to identify suitable solutions in complex cases.
  • Upskilling – training colleagues and Argenti partners to understand and install specialist CT equipment.
  • Driving innovation – engaging with CT equipment suppliers to test and evaluate new technology solutions, determining their suitability for use as part of our offer.
  • Supporting CT transformation – working collaboratively with our Transformation and Programme Delivery function to design, deliver and evaluate CT proof of concepts.

Qualifications

  • Expertise and an interest in technology and innovation, preferably in care technology
  • A passion for working in Adult Social Care and supporting people to live better lives, particularly working age adults.
  • A good understanding of social care users and their needs and the outcomes of care technology.
  • A strong grasp of the health and care sector, including understanding of safeguarding, personalisation and working with vulnerable people
  • An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, partners and clients to identify innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage independently with clients and produce high-quality and well-structured reports and documents
  • Willing and able to travel across Argenti sites as required to conduct or support installations or training
  • Enhanced DBS check will be required
  • Due to the nature of the role, regular travel is required. Applicants should have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. Business-related travel expenses will be reimbursed in line with PA policy
