UK energy supplier: maintaining pace of delivery during significant organisational change

Following a restructure to create a new organisation and appointing a new leader for its retail business, this large UK energy supplier turned to PA to provide lead roles in strategy and planning in support of both its domestic and business-to-business (B2B) teams.

Integrating quickly with these teams and the Director of Retail, Strategy and Transformation, PA supported the full range of responsibilities vested in these roles – from developing five-year strategic plans to operational budgeting, helping to establish the new governance arrangements and managing key strategic projects from business case to early delivery. 

The organisation valued our track record in practical delivery and ability to tell the strategic story. PA made the difference by bringing together a combination of expertise and insight from across the firm, such as our energy market expertise, our in-house design studio and experience in specific technical disciplines such as business design and digital, to help this utility transition to its new retail business.
