We developed a global network of HR business partners for SABMiller

To maintain their position as one of the world’s leading brewers, SABMiller are keen to leverage their expertise in human resources around the world.

We worked with SABMiller on a major programme to develop the company’s HR professionals to become trusted advisers to the business. We designed a bespoke development programme, which we went on to run in four different continents.

The programme was built around a development centre, two blocks of classroom-based development, coaching and a six-month action-learning project for each participant. It focused on helping SABMiller’s HR professionals develop core advisory skills, enhance their business and commercial acumen, and manage complex change.  

To deliver the programme, we mobilised a team of experts – many with first-hand experience of running an HR function, and therefore highly credible as training leaders. Working with translators where necessary, our experts shared their skills and insight with learners from many different cultures, running the programme in countries as diverse as Poland, Botswana, Colombia and Australia.
