CLIENT STORY

We gave a leading Saudi charity confidence in their future strategy – helping improve the lives of thousands of people

"Essential elements in the success of this work have been the ability of PA to gain the trust and confidence of senior academic staff, and a willingness to engage in in-depth data analysis."

Rex Knight, Vice-Provost (Operations)
University College London

The Abdul Rahman Alsudairy Foundation (AAF) has invested over $80 million to develop the Saudi communities of Al-Jouf and Al-Ghat. From establishing kindergartens to sponsoring university students, the foundation operates a wide network of activities, yet they are best known for their large public library and research centre which attract academics and researchers from across the world.

The board of AAF – which includes many eminent Saudi academics and business leaders – approached PA for help developing a vision for the charity’s future that reflects the changing needs of the communities they serve, the explosion of digital communications, and the new provision of government services.

We brought together the members of AFF’s management team to discuss the key challenges for the foundation and its future development. Applying a proven strategy framework, our experts guided the board members as they agreed on key initiatives to take forward. These included providing educational support to help younger beneficiaries through their studies and offering greater funding for studies and research that focus on the local area.

Our work has given AAF confidence that their funds are creating lasting impact for thousands of Saudi people.
