Kimberly Johnston has joined PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a partner in PA’s Energy and Utilities Practice and a member of PA’s Climate Response unit.
Created to address the next generation of challenges faced by climate change, the Climate Response unit is focused on helping clients deliver on the energy transition and meet net zero commitments. Kimberly’s specialist areas of decarbonization and sustainability will be integral to helping the public and private sector achieve net zero ambitions.
Kimberly has a unique background and brings nearly 30 years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on finance, growth strategies, policy, and regulations. She joins PA from EY’s Americas Power and Utilities Practice where she was a Partner. Prior to EY, Kimberly was a corporate officer at CenterPoint Energy where she was instrumental in Texas competitive energy markets, regulatory strategies, legislative priorities, and natural disaster resilience measures. She is a recognized thought leader and has been named as Houston’s Most Influential Women and is a frequent speaker at major industry events, including World Economic Forum, COP26, NARUC, EEI, AGA, and other trade associations.
