8 June 2015

Ray Pawlicki is now working with PA Consulting Group’s healthcare and life sciences teams as a strategic advisor. He is bringing his expertise and insight as a former CIO of Biogen Idec and Novartis to support our market strategies in those industries, and further enhance the support and advice we provide our clients as they work to address the opportunities and challenges presented by information technology.

Ray has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare and life science industries and in addition to his leadership roles at Biogen Idec and Novartis he has held important leadership roles at Cytec Industries, Pepsico, HP and Citibank. He is well-known and respected for advising global healthcare organizations and start-ups by blending a technology background with extensive industry experience.

Ray also sits on the Advisory Boards of Mobiquity, Enginologi, and Eight Spokes, where he provides guidance in bringing new and leading edge technologies to the healthcare and life science industries.  Additionally, Ray is involved with UMass Memorial Healthcare as the Chair of the Board’s Technology Sub-committee.

Chris Steel, Head of Healthcare at PA Consulting Group in the United States, comments: “Ray will bring a wealth of healthcare and life science industry knowledge to PA at an important time in the evolution of our company, brand and growth.  We are excited to be working with him as part of our team.”

Ray Pawlicki, comments: “I am looking forward to working with a company as exciting and innovative as PA and helping them make a difference in patient’s lives.  PA has an excellent reputation amongst their clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors, and I look forward to working with them to further build on that reputation.”

Far-reaching reforms are fundamentally changing the relationships between key players across the healthcare industry. One of the key drivers of change lies in using information technology to support both more personalized care and improved standardization and information exchange. We are witnessing a revolution in healthcare enabled by IT as we work to achieve the triple aim of improving the quality and accessibility of care while reducing the costs of delivering that care.

PA will continue to be at the forefront of this change - partnering with our clients to meet the challenges of today and improve their success in the future.
