PA Consulting welcomes Tom Day as a partner in Consumer and Manufacturing

Tom Day joins PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a partner in PA’s Consumer and Manufacturing practice. Tom brings over 20 years’ experience in the consumer industry, delivering innovation and proposition projects for corporate organisations in the private sector. With a digital focus, he will support the building of new propositions and innovations for PA’s clients.

Prior to PA, Tom was an Innovation Director at Deloitte, where he led a 60-person innovation practice. Within Deloitte, he was also the EMEA Alibaba alliance leader, and the Global Head of Connected stores. He also experienced the successful acquisition of Market Gravity by Deloitte in 2017.

Tom has established his own FMCG company specialising in supplements for men’s health, as well as his own business consultancy focused on Fintech and Traveltech SMEs.

PA’s consumer experts help clients create innovative and sustainable solutions, reinvent manufacturing processes and develop smart, connected supply chains. Their capabilities extend from market insight and taking products from creative design through development and launch, to finding new ways to connect brands with consumers. 

PA recently helped Swedish start-up PulPac develop a ground breaking sustainable fiber-based packaging technology that can replace single-use plastic at a lower cost. PA also enables brands to respond to the rapid pace of change in consumer behaviour due to the COVID-19 pandemic through Lockdown Unlocked, the company’s consumer insights programme that amasses rich quantitative data and qualitative insights into consumer thinking.
