PA Consulting welcomes nuclear expert and operating model specialist Matt Leedham as Partner in Energy and Utilities practice

Matt Leedham joins PA Consulting (PA), the consultancy that’s bringing ingenuity to life, as a Partner in its Energy and Utilities practice. Matt will support in leading PA’s growth within the nuclear sector. He will focus on helping clients address the climate response by meeting net zero targets through technology-focused transformation implementation and unlock value through the delivery of large and complex business and IT change programmes.

Matt brings over 20 years’ experience in the energy sector, delivering change across the nuclear value chain. He has a significant amount of experience delivering successful strategy development and change in large, complex and highly regulated organisations. Matt specialises in Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and the deployment of technology to unlock value and deliver radically improved employee and customer experience. During his career, Matt has worked across nuclear new build, decommissioning and waste management areas in both senior industry and consulting roles.

Prior to joining PA Consulting, Matt spent over seven years in PwC’s Consulting practice where he focused on clients in the nuclear sector. Before this he was Head of Business Architecture at EDF Energy (EDF). At EDF, as part of the Nuclear New Build (NNB) division, Matt initiated and directed the delivery of a new government accredited IT network, led the development of an information management strategy for the Board and led the design, design and development of a new IMS which formed a cornerstone of the successful award of a nuclear site licence from the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR), the first of a kind for 25 years.
