PA Consulting receives CHECK accreditation for penetration testing from the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre

Global innovation and transformation consultancy, PA Consulting (PA) has received CHECK accreditation for penetration testing from the UK Government’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) as of 21 May 2019. 

The team, led by cyber security expert James Dale, has diversified and expanded significantly over the last six months and is now certified to carry out a broader range of security assessments across both the public and private sectors. CHECK accreditation recognises PA’s capability to provide high quality penetration testing work to a standard set by NCSC. 

James comments: “Penetration testing consultants at PA have excelled across a range of demanding technical security exams to enable our new CHECK status, as well as demonstrating the highest standard of professional methodologies directly to NCSC.” 

Elliot Rose, head of cybersecurity at PA comments: “Securing CHECK certification is a fantastic achievement for the team as fewer than 10% of penetration testing providers in the UK have achieved the CHECK standard.
