Google Enterprise named PA Consulting Group as the 2012 Global Partner of the Year for Cloud Platform. The award was presented at the Google Enterprise Global Partner Summit in Mountain View, CA.
The award emphasises PA’s proven track record of helping businesses adopt Google's Cloud Platform. In particular, it acknowledges the development of PA’s technical skills, with many PA consultants taking advantage of Google's partner training opportunities to enhance the skills needed to develop powerful new solutions on top of Google’s Cloud Platform.
Dan Rossner, innovative digital solutions expert at PA Consulting Group says: “We take full advantage of the training opportunities through Google's partner programme to improve our team’s skills, enabling our team to meet Google’s technical experts face to face and access the online training tools.”
The award also acknowledges PA’s work with the UK Met Office website. PA used its sector knowledge in combination with Google App Engine and Cloud Platform tools to deliver innovative, cost effective and scalable IT solutions for the Met Office to develop a social weather website.
Dan continues: “We're proud that this award recognises how our strengths can complement Google’s. Google provided the innovative tools and PA uses those tools to deliver exceptional results for clients, using in-depth sector and client knowledge to best position these tools. When we can combine our sector expertise with powerful tools such as Google’s Cloud Platform, we have the chance to open up new opportunities for our clients' businesses.”
Mark Hodgson, Head of Global Partner Programs at Google, said, "We are excited to provide this recognition to PA, who has consistently demonstrated sales, deployment and support excellence to our customers throughout 2012.”
