Mike Boxall, higher education expert at PA Consulting Group, has been quoted in a front page article in The Times. Mike gives his view on the future of universities as they face their most radical changes for 50 years. Mike’s comments are in response to Lord Browne’s recommendation to lift the cap on tuition fees.

Mike said that dozens of universities would be forced to rethink their business models, and that about a dozen would face serious financial difficulty. He said that nearly half of all universities depended on teaching grants for large proportions of their income.
