7 October 2009

PA Consulting Group has once again been named one of the Top 50 UK places Women Want to Work.  The Times report identifies the Top 50 UK organisations who are committed to developing women and who undertake progressive activity to attract, retain and develop female talent. Kate Wood, global head of human resources at PA Consulting Group, was interviewed for an article in the report on the progress of gender equality in the workplace.

Kate says that the commercial motive for promoting women is as important as the ethics.  Clients are increasingly demanding evidence of equality policies, Kate says “They want to see that we are doing what we say we are going to do.  I think that is very positive. It is good to have the external pressure.”
