Has Apple lost its ability to innovate?

Kezia Joseph

The New Economy

16 February 2015

PA’s Mark Skilton, a digital expert, is quoted in an article about Apple and its ability to innovate further than its record-breaking iPhone.

The article looks at Apple’s results from the first quarter of 2015 as well as previous profits and potential new products.

Mark discusses the potential of Apple’s iPhone developments: “iPhone 6 was an uncharacteristic strategy for Apple, emulating the Samsung phablet. The Asia market will continue to grow and the prediction is that Apple will continue for the next decade, expanding existing product lines to saturation point in these markets. With Apple product releases looking less innovative than in the past, the stock market is looking to the next 1 to 5 years.”
