Financial services: Help needed as banks leave bunker

Rod Newing

The Financial Times

16 November 2009

In an article in the Financial Time Business of Consulting report, Rod Newing comments that all eyes in the consulting industry are fixed on financial services sector. The article talks about the sector as the bellwether for the whole industry.

PA comments: “The competitive landscape will require very different propositions to both consumers and shareholders.  The consultant will become a trusted adviser, bringing new ideas, alternative perspectives and challenging the way clients do things. Above all it will be value-added insights that will help clients make a real difference with their growth strategies.”

The report also features an article dedicated to PA’s work in Iraq, based on an interview with consultant Angus Jackson who spent four years working on a project in southern Iraq to help restore safe water supplies in the Basra region.
