PA’s Peter Siggins, mobile communications expert, is quoted in an article in PC Pro. Peter gives his view on the use of personal smartphones in the workplace and the security threat this brings.

Commenting on the security challenges, Peter says that employers and employees must agree on a policy that allows the company to remotely wipe the device of all corporate data if the handset is lost. Peter argues: “This would also involve deleting other personal data on the phone, and the user needs to be comfortable with such a constraint.”
