PA’s Álvaro Gutiérrez, a manufacturing expert, is quoted in an article in Manufactura. The article discusses the challenges in the Mexican manufacturing sector under the Trump administration due to his promise to change trade policy with Mexico.

Commenting on the topic, Álvaro states: The current fluctuation of the Mexican peso should be taken advantage of with policies that attract foreign direct investment to the manufacturing sector, especially in the development of innovation centers that give added value to the products.”

Álvaro concludes: “On a global scale, there are trends that take force from Industry 4.0. For example, design goes beyond the form and materials contained in a product; now it seeks to connect with other articles or services, such as cars and smart roads.”
