In Anna Devine’s article in FT Ignites Europe, Claire Logan, head of people and talent at PA Consulting Group, says that giving something back to society can “enrich your life” and make people feel much better about themselves.

“That can be good for companies too, not just in corporate social responsibility terms but in increasing employee engagement,” she says.

Claire adds that finding a charity to support for the year is a good move but an even better idea could be to look for a trustee position on a charity where fund professionals can use their skills to add value.
