Germans are lagging behind

Dutch business newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad, reports on PA's analysis on car makers' CO2 emissions performance. By 2021, manufacturers will need to adhere to CO2 emission targets of the European Union. Author Bartjens of Het Financieele Dagblad notes that even the German car makers are struggling to hit the mark. With only a two years left to comply, only Toyota seems to be able to meet its targets in lowering their CO2 emissions.
