PA Consulting’s new ranking for assessing car makers’ future e-mobility performance was referenced in Neil Winton’s article in Forbes on Tesla’s potential plans to go private.
As mentioned in Neil’s piece, PA’s ranking shows that that Tesla’s leadership will end by 2021 as Mercedes-Benz claims the lead, followed by BMW, the Renault Alliance and Volkswagen.
The ranking, which listed electric automakers according to their strategy, battery technology, culture, supplier networks, partnerships and financial performance, reveals that Tesla will only be in 7th place by 2021, also behind Volvo and Toyota.
