Management: Added value replaces saving cash as spur to contracting out

Financial Times

Jane Bird

16 October 2013

PA is quoted in an article in the Financial Times. PA talks about why organisations are looking for more value in terms of the insights outsourced services can provide for their businesses.

PA comments on the issue of data security. Organisations should take this very seriously,  “They need to be sure they know what information is being outsourced, where it is being stored and who has access to it.”

PA points out that this is particularly important for new enterprises that may be looking for low-cost BPO options from large commoditised service providers. “With these providers, it may be hard for clients to gain insight into what sort of security measures are in place.”
