PA Consulting Group has been quoted in the Financial Times ‘Sustainable Business’ report. The BP oil in the Gulf of Mexico has shown that an environmental disaster can be as financially devastating for a company as a downturn in business.  Yet vulnerability to this type of hazard is not something you could spot by trawling through a conventional annual report.

Most companies face “a giant leap” in taking sustainability reporting to the next level, says PA Consulting. The trend towards direct consumer reporting will force them to be much more open to scrutiny.
