Business traveller: The US shutdown

Rhymer Rigby

Financial Times

2 October 2013

PA’s Stephen Brooks, expert in people management, is quoted in an article in the Financial Times on the US federal government shut down.

Stephen is asked, should people travelling to the US on business be worried? He comments: “If you’re a foreigner travelling to the US on work, entering the country is the only real contact you have with the federal government. There was a shutdown 15 years ago and I don’t remember any huge problems.”
