Guillermo Bilbao, Director of PA Consulting in Mexico, is quoted in an article in El Financiero. The article discusses investments and tariffs in the energy and oil sector in Mexico.

Commenting on the topic, Guillermo states: “One of the main issues is tariffs. In order to overcome this challenge, Mexico will use the model of minimum requirements, by which a company requests a permit to the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE) presenting all its costs and what it owes to investors.”

Guillermo concluded: “Once you have that cost, then additional variables and the benefit can be determined.  This benefit can range from 8 to 10 percent of what was initially invested.”
