Søren Krogh Knudsen, Nordic head of PA Consulting and a member of PA’s Board, shares his view on the agreement between PA Consulting and Jacobs and their future strategic partnership: "We are on a great journey both in Denmark and globally."
The article explains that the agreement will see Carlyle exit its stake in PA.
Søren Krogh Knudsen said:
"This is an exciting development for PA with Jacobs as our new strategic partner. Of course, I’m also really excited about our new journey with the new investors. It is a really great ending to our five-year partnership with Carlyle.”
He continued:"The private equity style investment from Jacobs will allow PA to retain its operational independence, and we will see continued share ownership by our PA employees.”
Over the past year, PA Consulting has already seen solid growth in its Danish business. In the most recent financial year, the company had a turnover of DKK 312 million, and recorded an operating profit of DKK 55.1 million and a profit of just over DKK 43 million.
"We are on a good path both in Denmark and globally. We had a strong 2019, and we are also in the process of delivering a very strong 2020. We have a clear plan, which we will continue to pursue. Jacobs gives us a lot of opportunities. It allows for us to accelerate our growth plan through acquisitions and collaborating with Jacob’s client base.”
