Frank Madsen, a business strategy expert at PA Consulting Group, speaks about the findings of PA’s Managing Uncertainty survey, which was published in December 2011, in an article in Berlingske Tidende.
Frank is quoted three times, referring to the survey: “The survey shows that the companies who came out [of the crisis] the strongest have developed scenarios, information and management systems that make it possible to respond fast - within weeks or months, to the crisis. The companies that benefited the most from the crisis are those who managed to win market share and invest their way out of the crisis.”
PA’s Managing Uncertainty survey, conducted in summer 2011, asked more than 200 senior business leaders from across the world how they had responded to the financial crisis and what management strategies had proved most effective. PA's analysis establishes which actions added value and which did not.
