PA IN THE MEDIA

Driving EVs is about money as well as the environment

"If you charge your EV during the day, at the same time as everyone else, it worsens the problem of energy consumption".

In a byline in Danish trade publication Ingeniøren, PA discusses the advantages of driving electric vehicles and also outlines the challenges that they present for people living in cities: what does it take for EVs to become a success, and is the infrastructure good enough to accommodate their use?

PA writes: “The common perception is that EVs are perfect to use in the city as they pollute less and have a smaller range. However, recharging EVs is a huge problem: if you charge your EV during the day, at the same time as everyone else, it worsens the problem of energy consumption."

Suggesting measures that can be taken to increase EV use, PA writes: “The energy that EVs use must be identified and stored at another time.”
