Job description

This exciting opportunity sits at the heart of our Nordic HR team, supporting our day-to-day operational activities and projects. We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member who is well organised, enjoys a busy and varied workload, and proactively raises their hand to help the team. In this important role you will join our Nordic HR team in Copenhagen and provide expert and hands-on HR support in Denmark, Sweden and Norway. You will ensure that our daily HR operations run smoothly and act as a point of contact for HR-related questions. We are looking for a natural team player - someone who has a passion and commitment to providing exceptional service in a collaborative manner. 

You will be responsible for a wide range of operational and administrative tasks and will benefit from having an eye for details, a digital mindset and a structured way of working. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple domestic and international stakeholders and work alongside colleagues from across the HR community.

You will use your strong relationship skills and personable attitude to build trust across the business. You take ownership of tasks and like to share your expertise and knowledge to enable learning and development for the people around you.

We operate in a matrix organisation and to succeed in this role we are looking for someone who has the ability to interact with multiple stakeholders, prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Point of contact for our employees on HR tools/systems providing day-to-day support on hands-on-tasks related to leave, pension, sickness etc.
  • Partner with and provide support to our Nordic HR Business Partners advising on Danish employment law and other HR matters
  • HR reporting, analysis and statistics
  • Manage company benefits, insurances, and employment agreements
  • Support payroll and reward queries and coordinate payroll with our payroll function and agencies from time to time
  • Support on-boarding and off-boarding of employees
  • Participate in local and global initiatives to refine, maintain and develop our processes, policies and ways of working

Qualifications

  • You have a degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • You have experience from a similar role (ideally, working in a Nordic context)
  • You have knowledge of Danish labor law (ideally, you will also have knowledge of labor law in Norway and Sweden)
  • You communicate in Danish and English on a professional level, both verbal and written
  • You are fluent in Excel (used to working with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
  • Ideally, you have experience from Workday
  • Ideally, you will have experience of working within professional services environment in a matrix organisation
