At the early stages of your project management career

Excellent first degree (2:1 or above) and a minimum of three years' post-graduation experience in a project management environment Ability to lead projects or workstreams in a larger programme Ability to demonstrate rapid career progression with increasing reponsibility in project roles as your experience and competencies develop Strong interpersonal skills An understanding of some project methodologies, processes and project issues Experience of working at different levels of an organisation Business analysis or problem solving skills.

More experienced candidates

Strong consultancy skills with a track record in working at all levels in an organisation up to Board level Management expertise, with strong interpersonal skills and commercial acumen to understand requirements and formulate and deliver creative solutions to client issues Leadership and addition of value to substantial projects with large teams, either from project inception to implementation or involving significant performance improvement or business transformation Contribution to the development of new business.

You must be keen to act in a business projects role and must be more interested in delivering business benefits than technical solutions You must be prepared to be challenged and stretched continually, and have a continuing desire for growth You should have a creative approach to problem solving - we are not looking for consultants to grind through standard methodology - instead, each consultant is expected to devise unique and powerful solutions that genuinely address client needs, based on our best practice guidelines and processes You must be able to co-operate as a team member with effective communication skills, and show awareness of local cultural issues You must be able to lead and manage an effective team, making tough decisions where necessary You must be able to absorb new knowledge rapidly and combine both theory and practice.
