What is it?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a term that encompasses a collection of technologies and scientific approaches that seek to recreate major characteristics of human intelligence in computers, such as the ability to learn and adapt behavior based on experience, reasoning, deduction, and so on. For many in the AI community, a major goal is to enable a computer to pass the Turing Test – essentially for the machine to appear indistinguishable from a human in conversation.
There are many other uses for AI in all aspects of business and society. Modern AI research is primarily concerned with producing useful machines to automate human tasks requiring intelligent behavior.
